Klaus Moeltner invited to Washington, DC

Moeltner was invited as one of eight economists with expertise in environmental valuation to participate in a roundtable discussion on developing Statistics for Environmental Economic Decisions (SEED). The group, representing 27 government agencies and eight universities, discussed tools, methods, and policy implications of developing Natural Capital Accounts for natural assets and ecosystem services.

Isaac Albores ’24, ’26 has been selected for the 2025 Farm Foundation Agricultural Scholars Program class.

The program inspires and trains the next generation of agricultural economists interested in agricultural policy, commodity market analysis, agricultural finance, and other applied economics fields.

Issac earned his bachelor’s degree in applied economic management. He is a junior analyst for Commodity Investing by Students (COINS) and is working toward his master’s in agricultural and applied economics.
