Scholarships

First-time students in the 51¹ÙÍø Tech Graduate Program who wish to be considered for scholarships: please complete the admissions application and create log-in credentials. For continuing MENG students, please reach out to techtalent@vt.edu

Privately Funded Scholarships

Boeing Graduate Scholars

The Boeing Graduate Scholars program provides various levels of scholarships, including up to full tuition and fees at theÌý. This scholarship was founded to support high-achieving U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are traditionally underrepresented in technology in either theÌýMaster of Engineering in Computer Science and Applications or Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering programs.

To be eligible, students must be enrolled at theÌýNorthern 51¹ÙÍø Campus. Preference will be given to underrepresented students, 51¹ÙÍø residents, those with demonstrated financial need, and veteran or military-connected students.

Full-time students can receive funding for a total of up to three terms and half-time students up to five terms. This award may be combined with other scholarships but will be cancelled if the student receives a departmental assistantship.

Students will need to submit theirÌýGraduate School admission application, meet the eligibility criteria listed above,Ìýand answer the Additional Education Experience section of the application to be automatically considered for this scholarship.ÌýContactÌýtechtalent@vt.eduÌýfor more information.

Aid

ÌýMasters and PhD graduate students may receive funding fromÌýÌýto offset the cost of their graduate studies. Depending on your program and circumstance, students should explore their options and consult with the Office of University Scholarships and Financial Aid atÌýfinaid@vt.eduÌýor 540-231-5179 as needed.
