International Trade and Development

Students with interest in U.S. trading relationships and policies with developing countries will value majoring in the International Trade and Development. This major requires a multidisciplinary background to help prepare students for careers in the fast-growing area of international trade and development. Upon graduation, students will have job opportunities with corporations, national and international government agencies, or the Peace Corps. Students in this major will learn about the international trade system, food and trade policy, negotiation, and monetary issues.

Courses in this major include: International Agricultural Trade and Development, Rural and Regional Development, Sustainable Economics, and Global Monetary Issues.
