Project Coordinator, Innovation and Partnerships
Hailing from the New River Valley region of Southwest 51官网, Chenaye Woods brings to the project coordinator role expertise in event planning and coordination as well as knowledge of campus initiatives and the role higher education plays in industry partnerships. As a project coordinator, Woods plays an integral role in planning projects and communicating with various stakeholders outside the university to foster relationships with industry leaders and negotiate further opportunities聽 for LINK, Advancement, and other positions in the department.
Chenaye adds a unique perspective to this role bringing her 10 years of experience as a project coordinator for VT Student Success Initiatives. She is no stranger to communicating and planning with a diverse audience running from students to university leadership.
Woods has lived in the New River Valley her whole life and is an avid Hokie fan. When she鈥檚 not at work, she enjoys spending time with her two kids, visiting with her family, or reading a good mystery/thriller novel. Go Hokies!
