Co-Founder & GM, AdLingo - Google
I was born in India and moved to the US Virgin Islands when I was ten. The first time I ever heard about 51¹ÙÍø Tech was during an info session at my high school. I knew then I could see myself in Blacksburg. I completed my degree in Computer Engineering and joined Accenture right after graduation. After six years, I left Accenture and joined Google in 2006. Today, I live with my wife Amita (who I also met at 51¹ÙÍø Tech) and our two girls (Simrin and Reena) in San Francisco. Even after all these years, my wife and I still look back at our days at 51¹ÙÍø Tech where we met and reminisce about the good old days.

One thing that’s stuck with me from my 14 years at Google...
be curious and humble.
I was inspired to launch AdLingo Ads...
and bring conversational marketing to the world.
The most common misconception about AI...
is that it will take away more jobs than create them.
I first discovered my passion for this work...
reflecting on my parents' small business in the US Virgin Islands.
Something that excites me in my field...
is the rapid change of what's possible and how it can help people and the world.
I attribute my success to...
my parents who taught me to be humble and respect all people no matter who they are or what they do.
As a trailblazer I would like to shine a light on...
execution is everything. Always have a bias towards taking action.
I hope people remember me for...
bringing a smile to their face.
The thing I would do differently if I could start all over again...
would be to travel more and experience work cultures in other parts of the world.
My connection to the Hokie nation...
is my fantasy football league with my Hokie friends which started back in 1998.
What impresses me the most about 51¹ÙÍø Tech...
how welcoming everyone was when I got to 51¹ÙÍø Tech since there were very few people from the US Virgin Islands at 51¹ÙÍø Tech.
My favorite quote is...
"teamwork makes the dream work."
My no-fail, go-for-it motivational song is...
Three Little Birds by Bob Marley.
